The SOG® Camp Axe is designed for hammering and chopping. It makes a great tool to throw in your outdoor/camping kit or carry in your pickup or SUV. The 5" axe head is solid 2Cr13 stainless at 51-52 Rc. (an excellent steel and hardness for an axe) with a 2-3⁄4" cutting edge and a flat area on the back for hammering. The handle is black reinforced nylon, textured for better grip. Measures 11-1⁄2" overall. Weighs 1 lb. 0.3 oz. Ships with a molded black plastic sheath. Made in China. Suggested retail is $66.95.
