Like its big brother the FastHawk Tomahawk is based on the Vietnam Tomahawk. An extreme evolution of the original, which was considered one of the more unusual weapons of its day. The SOG FastHawk is faster, lighter, more agile, and easier to carry than its sibling the Tactical Tomahawk. Chopping, breaking, cutting, hammering, piercing, digging, prying, pounding, shaving, notching, opening and throwing are all capabilities well within the FastHawk's reach. This Tomahwak is powerful, versatile, and functional.
The 420 stainless steel head with Hardcased coating is mounted to the fiberglass reinforced nylon handle with heavy-duty bolts. Side hammer checkering insures precise placement when pounding. Total length is 12-1/2". Carried in a nylon sheath this is a universal tool for modern man. Made in China. Suggested retail $60.95.
