In 2014 the SOGfari series added the Tanto Machete. Having helped to clear brush, blaze trails, chop wood, harvesting crops, prepare meals, make shelters and so much more, machetes are one of the more useful tools you can own. SOG paid careful attention to the SOGfari knives to make sure the weight was right and handles are comfortable for extEnded use.
The 10" tanto blade is made of 3Cr13 black powder coated stainless steel with a hardness of 44-50 Rc. Features a working saw on the back of the blade. The handle is made of textured thermoplastic rubber and has a lanyard hole to easily thread a lanyard through.Extended out of the back of the handle is a spiked tang for pounding and scraping.. The overall length measures 16". Comes with a black nylon sheath. Made in China. Weighs 12.7 oz. Suggested Retail $36.95.
