The smallest member of Spyderco's popular Value Folder series, the Ambitious is an ultra-compact cutting tool that cuts with big-knife authority. Following in the footsteps of its bigger brothers the Tenacious™, Resilience™, and Persistence™, this elite expression of the Ambitious Lightweight supercharges its performance with Crucible® CPM S35VN blade steel.
The full-flat-ground blade of this knife with a PlainEdge blade. The spear point blade measures 2-1/4" and has a hardness of 58-60 Rc. The satin-finished blade is housed in a handle with bright blue fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales with non-slip Bi-Directional Texturing. The skeletonized full stainless steel liners provide a stout liner style lock mechanism. The 4-way pocket clip allows for tip-up or tip-down carry with left-hand or right-hand opening.
Measures 3-5/8" closed and weighs 2.7 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail is $136.00.
