We have offered several variations of the Spyderco Dragonfly customized by Santa Fe Stoneworks with handle scales of different combinations of shell and semi-precious stone. We arranged this one at the 2023 SHOT Show. The handle scale is made up of Kingman Turquoise, Obsidian and Bronze embedded in a stable resin, separated by diagonal strips of white Mother-of-Pearl and nickel silver. The Kingman Turquoise Mine is one of the oldest producing Turquoise Mines and is the last full-time production mine in the United States, located in the Acerbate Mountains 14 miles northwest of Kingman, Arizona. This variation will be limited to an absolute maximum of 100 knives. We have 25 on hand.
The 2-1/4" leaf-shaped flat-ground blade is VG-10 stainless at 60-62 Rc. It is a Lockback. The handle is stainless steel. The reverse side supports a removable pocket clip positioned for tip-up carry. There is no scale on the reverse side. Measures 3-1/4" closed. Weighs 2.6 oz. Knife was made in Japan. Scales added in Santa Fe, U.S.A.
