Spyderco Dragonfly with Red Coral and Black Jet
Item #: SFE-SP28RCJ
$265.00
From Santa Fe Stoneworks
This is the second variation of the Spyderco Dragonfly customized by Santa Fe Stoneworks that we have included in A.G. Russell catalogs this year. Santa Fe does a wonderful job of embellishing the handle with different combinations of shell and semi-precious stone. At the Blade Show in Atlanta this year, I worked with Santa Fe to select these particular semi-precious stones for this knife.
The obverse side handle scale is made of a deep red Coral offset by sweeps of Black Jet, sometimes known as Black Amber, and diagonal strips of Abalone, all separated by thin strips of nickel silver. The 2-1⁄4" leaf-shaped flat-ground blade is VG-10 stainless at 60-62 Rc. It is a Lockback. The handle is stainless steel. The reverse side supports a removable pocket clip positioned for tip-up carry. There is no scale on the reverse side. Measures 3-1⁄4" closed. Weighs 2.7 oz. Knife was made in Japan. Scales added in Santa Fe, U.S.A.
