Byrd knives are an entry-level series of knives designed, produced and imported by Spyderco. Just right for the budget conscious, these knives are hardworking and tough, with many design options. The SLIPITs are non-locking, one-hand open folders. Spyderco designed this line for legally-restricted carry in places where locking folders are prohibited. The Tern has a black G-10 handle that is textured for slip free cutting. The 2-3/4" drop point blade is flat ground and made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a hardness of 57-59 Rc. The choil positions the index finger to block the blade from accidental closing when cutting. The handle measures 3-5/8" and has a reversible tip-up deep pocket wire clip. Weighs 1.7 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail $55.65.
