Spyderco K05 Paring Knife
Item #: SPCK05PBK
$40.95
Reintroduced to Spyderco’s product line after being discontinued for more than 10 years, the knives in their current line of kitchen cutlery are virtually identical to the original designs. Currently the paring, mini paring, utility and santoku knife styles are available, other blade shapes may be added in the future. The knives boast premium MBS-26 stainless steel blades, ground exceptionally thin and heat treated for optimal cutting performance. The handles are injection molded from polypropylene plastic for even greater durability. Molded directly onto the blade tangs, the handles feature a “stepped" texture pattern that provides exceptional comfort and control during use.
The K05 Paring knife has a 4-1/2" blade that offers an excellent balance of control and cutting performance. This makes it incredibly versatile and adaptable to many kitchen cutting chores and utility applications. Available with a black handle and a PlainEdge or a SpyderEdge blade. The SpyderEdge version is also available with a red handle. The SpyderEdge features a unique two-step serration pattern that protects the edge from dulling on cutting boards. The overall length is 8-3/4". Weighs 1.7 oz. Made in Japan. Suggested Retail $54.00.

Spyderco
In 1981, Spyderco ventured into the world of knife making by introducing their first folding knife, the C01 Worker. This knife was the first in the industry to feature a round hole in the blade design that allowed for fast, one-hand opening, now the company’s trademark, and the first to feature a pocket clip. The trademarked round hole is the most recognizable feature of a Spyderco knife and it facilitates the easy opening and closing of these knives with one hand while also offering convenient access and maximum control while opening as well as accommodating large, small or gloved hands.
Spyderco’s recognizable appearance is a result of designing ergonomically functional tools rather than applying lipstick and nylons to a pocketknife. Spyderco’s knives may look unusual, but they will never be called unusable or undependable. When you purchase a Spyderco knife, you are buying a high quality reliable cutting tool that was designed and manufactured for peak performance and ergonomic comfort.
