The Xolotl™ (pronounced show-low-tl) was designed by Michael Rodriguez, one of only two Americans to ever have graduated the Irish Army Ranger Wing Sniper Course. The Xolotl is part of CRKT's Forged by War program which allows knife designers who are veterans to select a charity of their choice to which a portion of the proceeds from their knife design will be donated. For this knife that charity is the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation.
The 3-3/4" satin finish spear point blade is 1.4116 stainless at 55-57 Rc. It has a top false edge and opens easily with a handy flipper. The handle is black G-10 that is textured for a secure grip. Liner-style lock. Measures 5-1/4" closed. Weighs 3.9 oz. Suggested retail is $125.00. Made in Taiwan.
