Alan Folts' Minimalist™ series of neck knives are very small and lightweight knives that come with a versatile sheath, equipped to work as a neck knife or slip easily onto a belt or attach to gear. The Minimalist® Cleaver Blackout safely rips through food packets or clothing. The front edge is not sharp. The hole in the blade pays homage to the hanging hole on the old style kitchen cleavers.
The full-tang 2-1/8" cleaver style blade is 5Cr13MoV at 56-58 Rc. with a black stonewash finish. Aided by three finger choils, hand-contoured black G-10 handle scales, and a braided nylon FOB, it provides surprising comfort and control. Weighing only 2.6 oz. in the sheath, it is a personal carry you will barely notice. Measures only 5" overall. Suggested retail is $39.99. Made in China.
