The Foresight™ is a Ken Onion design from CRKT® which was introduced at the 2012 Blade Show, where it was recognized as Blade Magazine's 2012 Imported Knife of the Year®. For 2021 they decided to bring the model back with a black stonewashed finished blade, Assisted Opening innovation and a glass-reinforced nylon handle. The handle has been purposefully styled and shaped with swept finger grooves and proper palm swell to provide a confident, comfortable grip no matter what the use. You'd swear the designer made a mold out of your own bare hand.
The Foresight is a large hand-filling folder built for rugged use with the IKBS Ball Bearing Pivot System. The blade is a full-bellied drop point with a plain edge. The 3-1/2" blade is 1.4116 at 55-57 Rc. with the black stonewash finish. The finish is durable and ages well. The handle is glass-reinforced nylon. Liner style lock. Measures 5-1/8" closed and weighs 6.2 oz. Made in Taiwan. Suggested retail is $99.99.
