Since its introduction in 2017, the Bugout® has been one of Benchmade's most popular models. This latest version pairs the popular M390 blade steel with handle scales of milled aircraft aluminum.
The 3-1/4" drop point blade is M390 super premium stainless at 60-62 Rc. M390 is a super-performance blade steel with exceptional cutting ability and wear resistance. Because of its uniform microstructure and stainless properties, M390 is often used in surgical cutting instruments and other applications that require a high finish. The red anodized dual thumb studs provide easy ambidextrous deployment of the blade. Available only with a plain edge and black Cerakote blade coating. The aircraft alloy handle sides are milled with lines radiating from the blade pivot to the butt end of the handle. They are then anodized to a blue-gray color. The thumbstuds and barrel spacers are anodized in bright red to accent the handle sides and black blade. The deep-carry tip-up pocket clip is reversible and is black to match the blade and screws. Incorporates Benchmade's AXIS locking system. Measures 4-1/4" closed. Weighs 2.5 oz. Made in the U.S.A. Suggested retail is $300.00.
