Knifemaker James Williams' longstanding history and knowledge of hand-to-hand combat sets the bar for his tactical knife creations—and the Inazuma No Ken™ is no exception to the rule. Inspired by the Otanashi noh Ken™ and the Hissatsu™ Folder, James brings us another Japanese-inspired knife with a name that translates to “lightning sword." Merging three remarkable innovations—Ken Onion's Assisted Opening and Flavio Ikoma's IKBS™ Ball Bearing Pivot System and Deadbolt® lock—stand back as it quickly and smoothly deploys, locking into place to withstand even the toughest jobs.

Drawn from the influence of a classical Japanese sword, this modern carry honors the tried-and-true ways of traditional combat while impressively designed to withstand the nature of today's battlefield.

Featuring Ken Onion's award-winning Assisted Opening, the tough D2 steel snaps open at super high speed—and since it's enhanced with IKBS™ ball bearing pivot system, the blade deploys lightning fast with a smooth rotation. Ready to accommodate both left or right handed holds, the G10 handle's textured surface adds another element of control so your grip doesn't fail you no matter the weather conditions you're venturing into. Topping it all off, the Inazuma No Ken™ features a super strong locking mechanism thanks to Deadbolt® innovation, delivering even more powerful precision whenever it's time to slash or cut through a surface.

The 3-3/4" blade is made from D2 steel and has hardness of 60-62 Rc. The closed length is 4-7/8". Weighs 6.2 oz. Made in Taiwan. Suggested Retail $170.00.
