Alan Folts took his idea for this knife from the butcher cleaver made for a chopping block. Similar to Alan's S.P.E.W™ (Small. Pocket. Everday. Wharncliffe.), the S.P.E.C.™ is equally sturdy and strong, from the blade's tip all the way to the grip. Modeled after its predecessor, the cleaver's G-10 handle has a heavier texture for a secure and comfortable grasp. Equipped with a sheath for added carrying versatility, slip it quickly onto your belt or bag for easy portability.
The 2-3/8" cleaver style blade is 8Cr13MoV stainless at 58-60 Rc. The handle scales are blue and black G-10. Measures 5-5/8". Weighs 2.1 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail is $54.99.
