Kershaw LoneRock RBK 2
Item #: KE-1891
$38.95
The LoneRock series of hunting knives from Kershaw offers a collection of tough, versatile outdoor tools that are made to stand up to just about anything your next hunting trip can dish out. The LoneRock RBK 2 is an upgraded version of Kershaw's skinning and caping knife and like the original it includes replaceable surgical-precision blades. Instead of having to stop and sharpen when a knife gets dull in the middle of skinning, just snap in a new blade and keep working. A liftable liner allows users to remove and replace blades safely and easily with a non-slip grip.
The RBK 2 also features a revamped handle for greater ergonomics and longer work sessions. It comes with 15 blades and an extra "buddy" handle with a nylon sheath to hold it all in securely. This slim, extra handle holds an RBK 2 blade so that both you and your buddy can take on the skinning task—to get the job done quicker.
The surgical-precision scalpel-like blades are made of 60A blade steel. A liner-style lock secures the blade open during use. The blade measures 2-3/4" with a closed length of 4-3/8". Liner style lock. Weighs 1.4 oz. Made in China. Suggested Retail $59.99.

Kershaw Knives
Kershaw Knives was founded in 1974 in Portland, Oregon when knife salesman Pete Kershaw started a cutlery company that would make knives from his designs. Japanese based KAI Cutlery manufactured those designs. In 1978, KAI Cutlery purchased Kershaw Knives and the company, renamed KAI USA Ltd., continues today with three product lines; including the original Kershaw Knives, Zero Tolerance Knives, and Shun Cutlery which primarily markets kitchen cutlery.
Over the years, Kershaw Knives has worked with several custom knifemakers. Cutlery Hall of Famer Ken Onion, a custom knife maker and inventor of the “SpeedSafe” assisted opening mechanism, is the premier knife designer for Kershaw Knives. Kershaw has also collaborated with custom knifemakers Grant and Gavin Hawk, Frank Centofante, and Ernest Emerson. Kershaw has released models that were developed in collaboration with National Geographic, Jeep, Orange County Choppers, the American Professional Rodeo Association, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Kershaw manufactures excellent knives and has built a very strong customer fan base due to their innovative designs and their quality control.
