The Skeggox was designed by James Williams. A former U.S. Army officer with more than 50 years of martial arts experience. He developed The System of Strategy, a unique approach to unarmed combat that he teaches to Special Operations units and law enforcement worldwide.
Named after the 1st Century Norse forebear, the Skeggox is a compact bearded axe that was built to withstand the test of time. The full tang on this modern incarnation has exceptional strength and uses SK-5 carbon steel for superior edge retention.
The black-coated steel is built with a long, curved head edge with a cutting edge of 4-3/4". The tough, glass-reinforced nylon handle scales are grippy even when the weather takes a turn for the worst. The durable sheath is MOLLE-compatible and easily attaches to packs and car rack systems. Measures 12-7/8" overall. Weighs 17.9 oz. Made in Taiwan. Suggested Retail $135.00.
