Released in 2022, the Subway Bowie has all of the key features of Fred Perrin's handcrafted custom design into a production knife. At the heart of the design is the blade steel, LC200N is a state-of-the-art, high-nitrogen alloyed tool steel formulated to provide an exceptional blend of toughness, edge retension and corrision resistance. The modified Bowie style blade is saber ground and measures 2-3/4". The black fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded directly onto the blade's tang and has Perrin's signature index-finger choil.
A lanyard hole allows the easy attachment of the included paracord lanyard and works with the choil and jimping on the spine to ensure a secure, non-slip grip. Designed for convenient, discreet neck carry, the Subway Bowie comes complete with a custom-molded Boltaron® sheath and a breakaway ball chain.
The steel has a hardness of 58-60 Rc. Overall length measures at 5-1/8". Weighs 2.3 oz. Suggested Retail $173.00.
