The Bear Claw™by CRKT® is a compact fixed blade with a blunt tip. The tip prevents point penetration making this a great knife to have when whitewater rafting, also makes for a great rescue knife. The hawkbill blade is made from AUS 8 stainless steel and has a stonewashed finish, the Veff Serrations™ help to make quick work of ropes and straps.
Over the years, the Bear Claw has become a go-to knife among whitewater rafters, river guides, water sports enthusiasts and emergency response personnel. The textured handle is made of glass-reinfored nylon with the finger retention hole in the handle, giving you a secure hold in wet conditions. The black thermoplastic sheath has multiple mounting options for quick access when you need it.
The 2-1/4" blade has a hardness of 55-58 Rc. The overall length is 5-3/4". Available with in a orange or black handle. Weighs 3.2 oz. Made in Taiwan. Suggested Retail $89.99.
