The Tenacious® was the first main line Spyderco® folders to be made in China. Over the years Spyderco has released this knife in different variations. This version of the Tenacious® elevates this best seller to new heights with the blade crafted from American made CPM M4 tool steel. Produced by the particle metallurgy process, CPM M4's sophisticated alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness-properties that translate to outstanding edge retention and impact resistance in knife blades.
The 3-3/8" full-flat ground modified drop point blade has a plain edge and a satin finish. The tool steel has a hardness of 60-62 Rc. The blade's shape coupled with an oversized Spyderco® Round Hole and textured spine jimping allow you to open the blade and position your thumb on the spine with confidence - ready for work. The handle is brown peel-ply-textured G-10 laminate with stainless steel liners. A liner style lock (with jimped liner) and a 4-way pocket clip allow for tip-up or tip-down carry and left-hand or right-hand opening. Measures 4-3/8" closed and weighs 4.2 oz. Made in China.
