The original CEO was designed to be unobtrusive. Tucked in a pocket, it could pass as a pen. With the popularity of the first model, CRKT has released the CEO in several versions. This one is the smaller Compact CEO that has a very low profile that does not give up anything on usability or ergonomics. It is the perfect everyday carry for cutting tasks that are less demanding. Also makes a wonderful folding steak knife. The handle scales are black glass-reinforced nylon.
Using IKBS™ ball bearings in the pivot to reduce friction as the prominent flipper sets the blade in motion. The locking liner keeps the blade securely in place while in use. The Compact has a 2-1/8" straight edge blade of 1.4116 stainless at 55-57 Rc. Measures 3-1/2" closed. Weighs only 1.6 oz. Designed as an ambidextrous carry, the pocket clip, positioned for tip-up carry, is reversible for right or left-hand. Made in Taiwan. Suggested retail is $69.99.
