CRKT has released a new version of their very popular Homefront Model. Designed by Ken Onion, the original featured the Field Strip technology. This version instead is a flipper-opening knife with a smooth IKBS ball bearing pivot system. The bayonet lug-style flipper initiates a smooth opening action as the tank jimping on the backspacer sits snugly against the palm of your hand. The 2-7/8" drop point blade is S35VN stainless at 59-61 Rc., and makes for a great work blade. The black blade in a DLC finish gives this everyday carry a look that commands attention. The handles are a lightweight but solid-feeling G10 in a tan color. Locks with a liner-style lock. Measures 43-7/8" closed and weighs 3.0 oz. Suggested retail $199.99. Made in Taiwan.
