The PakLite series is new from Buck for 2024. Made for heavy outdoor use these knives are designed to be light so that they don’t weigh down your pack. The blade steel is made from high-performance S35VN. The jimping along the blade spine and the textured handle help to provide a strong positive grip even when wet. The full tang, skeletonized construction comes with minimal handles that are removable. The purpose-built blades are made in hunters in mind who count every ounce in their packs.

This handy set combines the 631 Field Pro and the 635 Caper Pro, the 631 Field Pro was designed as a general-purpose hunting knife that also makes a great survival/outdoor knife and the 635 PakLite Caper knife is designed for caping and small game. Both knives have a blade steel of S35VN stainless steel with a hardness of 59-61 Rc. The blade and handle have a stonewashed finish with OD green micarta handle scales. The minimalist handle gives you added grip and improves ergonomics, but it can also be removed to suit your preference or for easy cleaning.

The Field Pro has a 4" skinner blade allows for detailed work while lessening the chance of puncturing. Measures 8-1/4" overall. The Caper Pro has a 2-3/4" drop point blade gives this knife great versatility, allowing it to be used for various tasks besides hunting. Measures 7-1/8" overall. The included lightweight polypropylene sheath allows for different carrying methods. Weighs 6.7 oz for both knives in the sheath. The knife is made in the USA, sheath is imported. Buck Knives

Buck Knives has been around for a very long time. In fact, Buck Knives was just switching from handmade knives out of a Southern California Garage to factory made knives about the same time we began the A.G. Russell ™ Knife mail order business. Over the past half century buck has become one of the largest and most important knife companies in the world. They are so well known, in some parts of the country pocketknives are referred to as “Buck Knives.”
