Benchmade® is well known for their collaborations with skilled artisans, designers and craftsmen. In 1999 they introduced the AXIS® lock on their 710 utility folder. The lock was developed by knifemakers Bill McHenry and Jason Williams. Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of AXIS® lock technology, they have re-introduced the 710. This version has the same large frame and ample cutting power as the original, just with higher quality materials.
The stylish 4" drop point recurved blade is CPM-S90V stainless at 59-61 Rc. with a bronze FDE PVD finish. The lightweight 6061-T6 Aluminum handles are anodized gray to contrast with the bronze color of the blade. The pocket clip, pivot ring and barrel back spacers are Flat Earth PVD coated to complement the blade.
The reversible deep carry pocket clip is positioned for tip-up carry. Measures 5" closed. Weighs 4.9 oz. Made in the U.S.A.
