A. G. Russell Gent's Lockback
Item #: AGLB-323SWB
$125.00
This beautiful little knife was first made for A.G. by a tiny maker in Seki, Japan in 1991 with AUS-8 blade steel. We introduced it again in 1998 with ATS-34 blade steel, made by that same maker in Seki. The last of those were sold in 2005. This is such an elegant little knife that A.G. wanted to do another production, but that maker was no longer there.
Earlier this year, we were presented with the opportunity to have it made in Maniago, Italy. It took a while to get the same quality, but finally it is done. You will find the quality to be impeccable.
The 2-1/8" mirror polished blade is Elmax stainless at 58-60 Rc. The bolsters, liners and pins are nickel silver. Measures 2-3/4" closed. Each handle material weighs a little different, but all are close to 1.7 oz. Made in Maniago, Italy.
The black genuine leather pouch is an excellent way to protect your knife from scratches and dings when you carry it in your pocket. Made in Seki, Japan (sold separately).

A.G. Russell Knives
From the age of nine I made homemade knives until I was about twenty-four when I began to make handmade knives, crude but no longer made at home. A few years later, I had met and learned from makers like R.W. Loveless and R. L. Dozier. I made knives until the mid 1970s. I don’t make handmade knives anymore, as my hands aren’t what they used to be. However, I do have very talented makers in the United States and Japan who make knives that I am proud to put my name on. I design pocketknives, one hand knives, lockbacks, and fixed blade knives and have them made to our standards. ~A.G. Russell III
A.G. Russell has been in the knives and whetstones business for over 50 years. A.G. Russell knives are well known for their quality. A.G. Russell knives tend to be more traditional in style and look, with modern advances in material and design to create excellent knives.
