Boker Traditional Folders with Smooth Yellow Bone
Item #: BO-10862SYB
$57.95
Bone has been used since the time of cavemen. Used for tools, weapons, needles and so much more, bone has been an essential material for man. Today we have other materials for most of those objects. Knives still often have bone as a handle material. Due to the porous nature of bone, when it is dyed the color will vary. These folders from Boker® are traditional slip joints that keep inline with the traditional models that have used bone for handle scales for at least a couple centuries.
The blades are D2 at 59-61 Rc. The bolsters and caps are traditional nickle silver. The liners and pins are brass. The obverse side of the main blade is etched with the Tree Brand mark. The round shield is embossed with the Boker Tree and the word Germany. The handle scales are polished smooth yellow bone.
