The Nordlys was designed by Danish knifemaker Jens Anso for Viper. It has a partially hidden full tang, striking a balance between lightweight design and durability to create an ultimate tool for hunting or as an every day carry sheath knife. The broad blade is designed to ensure reliable cutting throughout its length to meet a wide range of tasks. The tapered, lowered tip gives the blade the versatility to tackle tasks with precision and ease.
The handle has a slim profile and contours that fit comfortably in the hand. The handle is available in two materials: black Suretouch, a material that combines G-10 with layers of rubber, or Bocote Wood. Both have a textured surface that enhances grip and control. The 3-7⁄8" semi-skinner blade is Bohler N690 stainless at 57-61 Rc. Measures 8-1⁄8" overall. Includes a brown leather pouch style sheath with a snapped strap to secure the knife in the sheath. Wood weighs 4.9 oz. Suretouch weighs 5.3 oz. Made in Maniago, Italy.
