Easily recognizable by their Z-shaped profiles, Spyderco's USA-Made Z-Cut series elevates the time-tested concept of the "offset" knife to all-new levels of quality and performance. Offset kitchen knives are unique because their handles are above the level of the blade instead of in line with it. Like a classic chef's knife, this aligns the blade's edge with the finger knuckles while providing ample clearance for them when working on a cutting board. Unlike a chef's knife, however, offset knives are much smaller, lighter, and much more versatile.

The pointed version of Spyderco's Z-Cut knife combines all the advantages of an offset design with an acute point that is perfect for detailed cutting tasks. Pointed Z-Cuts feature corrosion-resistant CTS® BD1N stainless steel blades with PlainEdge™ cutting edges. Their ergonomic polypropylene handles are injection molded directly onto the blade tangs and come in bright colors.

As always we recommend that you never put a sharp knife in a dishwasher or let them set in a sink full of water.

The blade measures 4-3/8" in length and has a hardness of 55-57 Rc. The handle is green injection molded polypropylene. Measures 8-7/8" overall and weighs only 1.0 oz. Made in the U.S.A. Suggested Retail $30.00.

Spyderco

In 1981, Spyderco ventured into the world of knife making by introducing their first folding knife, the C01 Worker. This knife was the first in the industry to feature a round hole in the blade design that allowed for fast, one-hand opening, now the company’s trademark, and the first to feature a pocket clip. The trademarked round hole is the most recognizable feature of a Spyderco knife and it facilitates the easy opening and closing of these knives with one hand while also offering convenient access and maximum control while opening as well as accommodating large, small or gloved hands.

Spyderco’s recognizable appearance is a result of designing ergonomically functional tools rather than applying lipstick and nylons to a pocketknife. Spyderco’s knives may look unusual, but they will never be called unusable or undependable. When you purchase a Spyderco knife, you are buying a high quality reliable cutting tool that was designed and manufactured for peak performance and ergonomic comfort.
