Designed by Ted Valerio, founder of Teval knives. The Gravitic Flip™ is a manual out-the-front (not an automatic) knife that channels the ingenuity of the original "Flip It" knives, with their vintage-inspired flip insert mechanism. A quick flick of the insert deploys the dual-edge spearpoint blade forward, where tabs on the insert recess into the handle lock it in place. Recessed magnets on the insert keep the blade securly in the closed position, giving you a smooth, reliable action without the need for springs or buttons.
The handle is glass-reinforced nylon. The 3-1/4" dagger style blade is 5Cr13Mov stainless at 55-57 Rc. with a black stonewashed finish. Slide-Lock. Has a black coated deep-carry pocket clip and a nylon lanyard. Measures 4-1/4" closed. Weighs 1.4 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail is $49.99.
