9 Piece Woodcarvers Set

For years we have watched for woodcarving sets and had not seen one that we felt was worthy of our customer's attention. Now we have found, from one of our top Japanese knifemakers, a set of carving tools with exotic wood handles and fine carbon steel blades in a stitched canvas tool wrap. This set was not made for export. It is widely sold in Japan and we had to order enough to justify their printing the wrap in English. No instructions, just fine tools; a carving knife, a large and small gouge, a veining or corner tool, a large and small Kiridashi (like a Wharncliffe), a saw, and a fine and course rasp, all contained in the canvas wrap.

The handles measure approximately 4 inches in length, and though it varies, there is about 3 inches of tool/blade, making each tool about 7" to 7 1/2" in total length.
