The original Crooked River folder was added to Benchmade's Hunting line in 2016. New for 2025, these two versions are being released with black canvas micarta handle scales, burnt copper finished bolsters and a DLC Battlewash finished blade. An additional upgrade from the original model is the blade steel, which is CPM-MagnaCut Super Stainless at 60-62 Rc. Reverse tanto blade. Black anodized back spacers and hardware. The locking mechanism is Benchmade's AXIS lock, created by custom knifemakers Bill McHenry and Jason Williams. Both have a black coated reversible tip-up pocket clip. Made in the U.S.A.
