The Cattle Knife from Boker was designed to be a sturdy folder suitable for the rough everyday life on the farm or in the wilderness. This knife is a full-fledge slip joint folder with a tight spring that holds the blade in the full open position and in the closed position. The long nail nick in the blade is made with fine teeth to help opening. The nail nick also works for striking suitable matches.
The 3-1⁄2" drop point blade is N690 stainless at 58-60 Rc. The bone handles have been jigged and dyed to resemble stag. The fluted bolsters are nickel silver and the liners are brass. Measures 4-3⁄8" closed. Weighs 3.7 oz. Suggested retail is $276.95. Fully handcrafted by Boker in Solingen, Germany.
