This light oil is used for easy lubrication of your stone sharpening surfaces. Without the oil, the pores of a sharpening stone can clog, compromising its ability to sharpen your knife or tool. Just wipe your blade and stone after each use. Once honing oil has been used on a stone, water should not be added. 3 oz bottle.
