December 2020 Catalog Letter

December 2020

Dear Customers and Friends,

Wow! What a year 2020 has been!

The chaos created naionwide by COVID-19, the riots, primarily in our largest cities, and the divisiveness of the elections, have all contributed to difficulty in doing business as it has been done in the past. At A.G. Russell Knives, we have also dealt with a tornado that damaged our building in October 2019 resulting in the need to replace the roof in its entirety, which took most of the summer of 2020.

Even though, like everyone else, we have struggled with slow inventory delivery and the threat of COVID-19 impacting our staff and our families, with the exception of having to close our walk-in retail store here in Rogers for most of the year, we have adjusted. With the dedication of a trememdous group of team members, we have continued to process and deliver orders pretty much as we always have. I can't say that it has been easy. Myself and our team members, like everyone else in the country, have certainly experienced a much higher level of stress. I would hope that every interaction a member of the A.G. Russell team has had with our customers has been handled by us with understanding and grace.

We have continued to develop new knives based on A.G.'s designs, several of which you will see throughout 2021, and we are working with major brands for other unique knives. While we do focus strongly on our own designs and on handmade knives, we also offer the major brands. Even though you will not see all American brands included in our mailings because of the cost of printing and postage, most are available on our website at http://www.agrussell.com. Be sure to look to us for your favorite brand.

Wishing you the best in 2021.
