This is an outstanding knife that fits any size hand. Perfect for my large hand but Goldie says it is also comfortable in her small hand. Opens with the ease you expect of a properly installed ball bearing pivot. The flipper/trigger works for anyone. The deep pocket clip can be placed tip up or tip down for either right or left hand carry. Each measures 4-1/2" closed.

Featherlite Steel handle sides and black G-10 overlays. Look inside the frame - at the cut-away on each side. Even though the frame is stainless steel, the weight is closer to that of Titanium. The 3-1/2" semi-skinner blade is 9Cr13MoV at 58-60 Rc. coated with black titanium oxide as are the handle sides. Weighs 4.8 oz.

A.G. Russell Knives

From the age of nine I made homemade knives until I was about twenty-four when I began to make handmade knives, crude but no longer made at home. A few years later, I had met and learned from makers like R.W. Loveless and R. L. Dozier. I made knives until the mid 1970s. I don’t make handmade knives anymore, as my hands aren’t what they used to be. However, I do have very talented makers in the United States and Japan who make knives that I am proud to put my name on. I design pocketknives, one hand knives, lockbacks, and fixed blade knives and have them made to our standards. ~A.G. Russell III

A.G. Russell has been in the knives and whetstones business for over 50 years. A.G. Russell knives are well known for their quality. A.G. Russell knives tend to be more traditional in style and look, with modern advances in material and design to create excellent knives.

The A.G. Russell F.I.S.T. is a great knife. It opens very easily, seems to hold an edge well, and even has a deep-carry clip. The clip has one problem, though. The securing screws have rounded heads which eat up half the space meant for the pocket lip, and make it slightly difficult to withdraw from the pocket. Changes: Make the pocket clip slightly larger. Rating: 8/10 James N. Alamogordo, NM
I got the Ti-Fist. I have modified mine a little bit. I wanted to be able to pierce better if needed. It's an excellent knife made with good materials. Best regards from France. Jean O. France
