The word Sinuate (sin-yoo-it) means to curve or wind in and out. That certainly applies to the handle profile of this new A.G. Russell™ frame-lock folder. Those lines are repeated in the lower edge of the titanium handle, the lower edge of the carbon fiber handle inlay and the lines of the blade. Even in the lines of the milled titanium clip, creating a visually appealing and comfortable to use folder.

The 3-5⁄8" blade is a two-toned, mirror polished finish on the blade grind, and a satin finish on the flat surfaces. The clip point blade is 9Cr13CoMoV stainless at 58-60 Rc., a steel that we have found to take a fine edge, cut extremely well and hold that edge for a life long use. The flipper and bearings in the pivot make for easy one-handed opening. The handles are bead blasted Titanium with Carbon Fiber inlays. The deep-pocket clip is milled from a solid piece of titanium and is positioned for tip-up, right-handed carry. The back spacer is anodized a pale blue. Measures 4-5⁄8" closed. Weighs 3.1 oz. Made in China.

Limited to 250 pieces.

Knife Testing
We tested the efficiency of the recurved 9Cr13CoMoV stainless steel blade on the Sinuate, starting with 3 boxes, and ending in approximately 1" strips. It was shaving sharp before and after the test.

A.G. Russell Knives

From the age of nine I made homemade knives until I was about twenty-four when I began to make handmade knives, crude but no longer made at home. A few years later, I had met and learned from makers like R.W. Loveless and R. L. Dozier. I made knives until the mid 1970s. I don’t make handmade knives anymore, as my hands aren’t what they used to be. However, I do have very talented makers in the United States and Japan who make knives that I am proud to put my name on. I design pocketknives, one hand knives, lockbacks, and fixed blade knives and have them made to our standards. ~A.G. Russell III

A.G. Russell has been in the knives and whetstones business for over 50 years. A.G. Russell knives are well known for their quality. A.G. Russell knives tend to be more traditional in style and look, with modern advances in material and design to create excellent knives.
