With Smooth White Bone

Bear and Son® Cutlery is a family owned company that has been producing knives for over 30 years. A lockback of this size has always been one of our customers' favorites. These versions from Bear and Son have smooth white bone handle scales which look really nice against the stainless liners and nickel silver bolsters and pins. The blades are mirror polished 440A stainless at 57-59 Rc. The drop point has a 2-1/2" blade and measures 3-1/4" closed. Weighs 2.5 oz. The clip point has a 2-1/4" blade and measures 3-1/8" closed. Weighs 1.8 oz.
Both are made in the U.S.A.

Bear and Son

Doing everything in house allows Bear to control the materials, workmanship and the delivery schedule, which is a real plus. These new traditional folders show significant improvement from the Bear Cutlery knives we last offered.  Perhaps Wally Gardiner, formerly with Schrade and Canal Street Cutlery, has contributed to that.

Bear is one of the few companies that has the ability to work with non-stainless high-carbon steel these days.
