The Bailout, with its slim profile and light carrying weight, is the perfect EDC knife. Designed for the modern outdoor adventurer with some of today's best performing materials. For the new versions offered in 2023 Benchmade has taken inspiration from colors found in nature. The color is called Crater Blue and was inspired by the movement of the Alaskan winter waters of the north, where you can see and feel the color in the calm morning ocean.
The 3-3/8" tanto point blade is made from CPM-M4 super steel with a hardness at 62-64 Rc., and features dual thumb stud openers for easy ambidextrous use. The blade comes with a plain edge and has a Tungsten Gray cerakote finish. The black anodized textured aluminum handle scales support a reversible tip-up deep-carry pocket clip that is black coated. The Tungsten Gray colored Aluminum pommel has a lanyard hole and a Carbide glass breaker. Incorporates the Benchmade AXIS lock. Measures 4-5/8" closed and weighs 2.7 oz. Made in the U.S.A.
