PSK™ (Personal Survival Kit) folder from Benchmade is a completely new model, built for endurance. This is a spring assist folder. Benchmade has added a spring assist mechanism to their Axis® Lock which becomes the Axis® Assist. The blade can be locked in the open or closed position using the integrated safety on the handle spine.
The handle is molded G10 in two color options: OD Green G10 with a gray G10 bolster and a cobalt Cerakote® finished blade, or Black G10 scales with a carbon fiber bolster and black Cerakote® blade finish. Both knives have stainless steel liners.
The 3-3⁄8" drop point blade is CPM-MagnaCut Super Stainless at 60-62 Rc. with milled pockets at the top of the blade to provide extra purchase during precise cutting tasks. The blade has a dedicated striking choil at the base of the blade for fire starting using Benchmade's ferro rod, which is available on our website.
Both knives have a black-coated deep-carry pocket clip that is positioned for tip-up carry and is reversible for left or right-hand carry. Measures 4-7⁄8" closed. Weighs 5.2 oz. Green suggested retail is $400.00. Black suggested retail is $450.00. Made in the U.S.A.
