Boker Boxer Damascus
Item #: BO-11025DAM
$625.00
The Boker Boxer was designed by Raphaël Durand from Thiers, a historical center of knife manufacturing in France. The cutlery knowledge and craft from this region is over seven centuries old. The knife is a classic two-handed opening folder with a dark blade of Dragonskin Damascus by Bertie Rietveld that is hardened to 58 Rc. The South African custom knifemaker is considered the country's first Damascus smith, and has been forging high performance Damascus with unusual patterns since 1991.
The grooved stainless steel bolsters are a nice contrast to the handle scales of polished Red Burlap Micarta and the dark blade. The handle is contoured to be very comfortable in the hand.
3" clip point blade. Stainless steel liners and pins. Lockback folder. Individually serial numbered on the backspacer (sorry, no choice of numbers). Delivered in a sleek floating display with certificate of authenticity. Measures 4-1/8" closed. Weighs 4.2 oz. Suggested retail is $795.00. Handmade in the Boker knife factory in Solingen, Germany.
