Boker Coffin Denim Micarta
Item #: BO-294BDM
$132.95
The coffin-shape is a traditional style of knife handle resembling a burial coffin, hence it's name. Using that name for Boker's Coffin folder is a bit of a stretch on that traditional pattern. Chuck Gedraitis, a knifemaker from Massachusetts, is the designer. The MagnaCut blade steel combines high corrosion resistance with excellent edge retention and is perfect for demanding everyday cutting tasks. The blue denim Micarta handle scales, with the bright satin finish blade and bright accents, create a strong visual impact.
The 3-1⁄8" drop point blade is MagnaCut stainless at 61-62 Rc. It is a modern style slip joint (meaning the blade does not lock closed) with a strong spring and halfstop. Measures 4-1⁄8" closed. Weighs 2.0 oz. Made in Soligen, Germany. Suggested retail is $155.95.
