The Rocket folder was designed by Darriel Caston of D-Rocket Designs. Known mainly as a designer of tactical pens, Darriel has been designing knives since 2013 combining old techniques with cutting edge technology. The Rocket has a one-sided titanium handle with an integrated titanium linerlock to secure the blade in the open position. The back of the handle completely covers the blade when it is folded closed. The straight cutting edge makes utility cuts easy. The hole in the handle butt provides several different carrying options. There is no pocket clip.
The 1-3⁄4" modified Sheepsfoot blade is cobalt-alloyed 9Cr13CoMoV at 56-58 Rc. that contains molybdenum and vanadium and offers great edge retention. Measures 2-1/2" closed. Weighs only 1.3 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail is $68.95.
