Stag is one of the handle materials that has been used since the beginning of the history of knives. Used for tools, weapons, ornament and so much more, deer antler has been an essential material for man. Today we have other materials for most of those objects, but knives still often have Stag as a handle material. It is still one of the most popular.
This folder is part of Boker®'s traditional knives that keep inline with the traditional models that have used bone for handle scales for at least a couple centuries. The Copperhead, part of Boker®'s Traditional Series 2.0, is a classic. Named for the shape of the bolster which covers the sharp corners of the blade when it is closed.
All knives in this series have the Tree Brand® logo. The 2-3/4" clip point blade is mirror polished D2 steel at 59-61 Rc. The bolsters, round tree shield and pins are nickel silver and the liners are brass. Measures 3-5/8" closed. Weighs 2.4 oz. Boker manufactured. Suggested retail is $93.95.
