Named for the Pilot Butte, a lava dome located in Bend, Oregon. Knife designer Lucas Burnley calls it a modern classic folder, integrating traditional looks with the latest materials and features—including CRKT's Deadbolt® technology, a first for a Burnley knife. The Butte contains three ground-breaking innovations: Deadbolt®, Assisted Opening, and IKBS™ ball bearing pivot system. Working in tandem, Ken Onion's lightning-fast Assisted Opening matches seamlessly with Flavio Ikoma's IKBS ball bearing pivot system, achieving a super smooth and quick deployment action. Besides the sheer speed, thanks to Flavio Ikoma's Deadbolt technology, once the blade is locked open, you can trust it to hold.

The contoured olive drab G-10 handle scales provide a confident grip even when wet. The blade opens quickly and smoothly with the blade flipper. The 3-3⁄8" modified clip point blade is D2 steel at 60-61 Rc. with a stonewashed finish that hides those hard-use scratches. The deep-carry pocket clip is positioned for tip-up right or left hand carry. Weighs 5.0 oz. Made in Taiwan. Suggested retail is $150.00.
