At first glance, the CEO Flipper could be mistaken for a pen tucked in your shirt pocket. That's exactly the intention – unobtrusive. With a supremely low profile and no compromise on usability and ergonomics, it is the perfect everyday carry when your daily cutting tasks are less demanding. It would also make a wonderful folding steak knife. Since the introduction of the original model, CRKT has released the CEO in different versions. This version has a textured glass-reinforced nylon handle in a desert tan that is complimented with a black coated blade, liners and pocket clip.
The 3-3⁄8" blade is black EDP coated AUS-8 stainless with a hardness at 58-59 Rc. It deploys rapidly with a flipper on a IKBS® ball bearing pivot and locks with a liner-style lock. The handle is desert tan glass-reinforced nylon scales over black coated stainless liners. The black coated deep pocket clip is reversible for left or right-handed carry. The clip is installed for tip-up carry. Measures 4-1⁄4" closed. Weighs 1.9 oz. Made in Taiwan. Suggested retail is $79.99.
