The Ritual™, designed by Alan Folts, has been very popular since its release in 2021. When designing the original model, Alan imagined what a Persian fixed blade would look like if it had evolved over generations and had become a folder. Frankly, we almost didn't put the original in the A.G.Russell™ catalog. Not what our customers typically go for. This one is an exception.
CRKT has just introduced two variations of a Compact version. This one, with a Damascus blade and Damascus bolsters, is limited to 1,000 pieces.
The blade deploys quickly and easily on an IKBS™ ball bearing pivot with the aid of a flipper. It is not spring-assisted like its predecessor. The 3-1/4" Damascus blade has an acid etch finish with a core, therefore the cutting edge, of 10Cr15CoMoV stainless at 58-62 Rc. The handle is built with blue anodized titanium liners and back spacer, Damascus bolsters and lightning strike carbon fiber with silver and blue wire scales. Locks with a liner style lock.
The blue anodized single position pocket clip is in a right-hand, tip-up carry position. Measures 4" closed. Weighs only 3.2 oz. Made in China.
