Michael Walker has been credited with the invention or popularization of over 20 knife mechanisims, including the modern liner lock. Starting as a jeweler, he later discovered a deep passion for folding knives as he was drawn to the combination of mechanical engineering, industrial design and artistic expression. After decades in the business, he remains one of the most respected names in knifemaking. This modern EDC takes its name from the Latin word fidus – meaning trustworthy and loyal.
The stonewashed long clip point blade is 12C27 stainless. The glass-reinforced nylon handle is textured for a good grip in any condition. The blade is easily deployed with the dual sided thumbstuds and IKBS™ ball bearing pivot giving you a smooth and confident blade deployment.
The 3-1⁄4" long clip point blade is 12C27 stainless at 59-61 Rc. Liner lock. Measures 4" closed. Weighs 2.1 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail is $99.99.
