James Williams, the designer of the Inazuma Non Ken™, is a former army officer and martial artist with over 45 years of experience. Inspired by the Otanashi noh Ken™ and the Hissatsu™ Folder, James brings us another Japanese-inspired knife with a name that translates to “lightning sword.” Merging three remarkable innovations—Ken Onion’s Assisted Opening and Flavio Ikoma’s IKBS™ Ball Bearing Pivot System and Deadbolt® lock—stand back as it quickly and smoothly deploys, locking into place to withstand even the toughest jobs. His Hissatsu knife designs have become popular with the military Special Forces and tactical Law Enforcement communities.
The blade has a black stonewashed finished 3-5/8" blade of D2 steel with a hardness of 60-62 Rc, with the same classic Samurai design as its predecessors. Black G-10 handle scales provide secure grip, while the thumb disk allows rapid opening with either hand. Measures 4-7/8" closed and weighs 6.2 oz. Made in China.
