CRKT KUK
Item #: CL-2742
$54.95
Designed by Ryan Johnson
Designer Ryan Johnson is no stranger to archaeologically significant edged tools; his parents gave him an antique Kukri when he was just ten years old. He's been refining his aesthetic taste and design skill ever since. Hailing from Chattanooga, Tennessee, he hasn't just dedicated his impressive career to producing incredible knives, but to studying the historical and cultural significance behind them.
The CRKT® KUK™, short for Kukri, after the Nepalese tactical and utilitarian machete, has a 10-5/8" full tang recurved blade that means business. The blade is 65MN carbon steel at 52-56 Rc., with a black powder coated finish. The tough glass-reinforced nylon handle is strongly textured to provide the control needed for such a chopping tool. When tucked into its woven nylon sheath, the additional paracord provides versatile carry options. Measures 16" overall. Weighs 14.7 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail is $69.99.
