If you are a fan of the Kit Carson designed M16 folder you are going to want to check out these stainless steel variations. Handles are shaped and contoured in the same confident grip M16 style, but are crafted of a retro flavored stainless steel. Handles are finished in a classic black oxide finish.

The blade is 8Cr13MoV stainless steel which gives an ideal combination of toughness and edge-holding ability in a work knife, and also allows easy field-sharpening. The popular spear point slim profile blade with a Razor-Sharp edge, is ideal for fine cutting and carving tasks. It comes with either a bead blasted finish or a black oxide coated blade. The Blade also features the Carson Flipper for quick and convenient blade actuation - and the flipper doubles as an effective blade guard in the open position. Blade lock up is secured through the traditional framelock mechanism. The M16-SS is a straight up, "no frills" folder design that kicks butt in pure performance and value.

The 3-1/4" blade has a hardness of 58-59 Rc. Closed length is 4" and weighs 2.6 oz. Suggested Retail $46.99 for the bead blasted model and $59.99 for the black model.
