Jim Hammond designed the Orca to be like the animal it is named after: powerful, stealthy and quick. The result is a small and unassuming folding knife that hides it surprising capability. The D2 blade provides excellent edge retention and opens in an instant thanks to the assisted opening. The blade flipper uses an IKBS™ ball bearing pivot to deploy the blade smoothly. Reassembling the marine mammal with smooth curves and details that look like dorsal and pectoral fins of the Orcinus Orca.
The small profile of this knife allows it to fit into the smallest pockets. The black glass-reinforced nylon handle is durable and lightweight and supported by stainless steel liners. The 1-7/8" drop point blade has a satin finish and a hardness of 60-62 Rc. Liner style lock. Comes with a low profile pocket clip. Measures 2-7/8" closed. Weighs 2.5 oz. Made in China.
